Ying Liu obtained his Ph.D. from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Tsinghua University in 2019. From 2020 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. Since October 2023, he has been working at the Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. His laboratory aims to systematically investigate the molecular mechanisms of the immune system in recognizing, activating, and defending against exogenous and endogenous stimuli. The research also seeks to uncover how the immune system collaborates and regulates with other systems. Over the past five years, he has published several papers as the first author in top-tier journals such as Nature, Nature Microbiology, and Cell Discovery. His work has been featured in Science Signaling, a journal of the Science family, in the "Editor's Choice" section.
