Yi Huang received her Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019. She conducted postdoctoral research and academic exchanges at the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Cologne from 2019 to 2021. Since July 2021, she has been a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. Professor Huang's research focuses on the mechanisms of innate immune recognition, activation, regulation, and strategies for intervening in inflammatory diseases. In the past five years, she has published several SCI papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Nat Cell Biol, EMBO Mol Med (highly cited), Trends Mol Med, Cell Mol Immunol (hot paper, highly cited), and iScience. She has received the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program and the CAS President's Award for Excellence. She has led four projects funded by national and provincial grants.
