Dr. Jianhuan Chen is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. He serves as the head of the Medical Genetics Teaching and Research Section, director of the Precision Genomic Medicine Laboratory, and co-director of the Jiangnan University-Guangdong Institute of Primate Disease Research Joint Laboratory for Chronic Disease Research. He is also an associate editor forFrontiers in GeneticsandFrontiers in Psychiatry. Dr. Chen's primary research areas include the pathogenic mechanisms of genetic diseases, host-microbe interactions, and new techniques for genetic disease diagnosis and treatment. He has published over 30 papers in journals such asMolecular Psychiatry(IF=15.5),PLOS Genetics(IF=7.5), andCell Host & Microbe, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 120. He serves as an associate editor for two SCI journals and a reviewer for over 20 SCI academic journals. Dr. Chen is a member of the Translational Medicine Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Immunology Society and the Industry-University-Research Committee. He has been the honorary chairman of the Mainland Student and Scholar Association at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has served as a reviewer for numerous research projects and awards, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's Science Research Excellent Achievement Award, and various provincial and municipal research funds. Since 2010, Dr. Chen has led 14 national and provincial research projects, including three National Natural Science Foundation projects and four provincial talent projects. He has participated in an additional eight national and provincial projects. |
